Frequently asked questions.

  • An initial tax-deductible deposit of $1,000 is payable to secure your place on the ride. The minimum total fundraising commitment to participate in the ride is $8,000 AUD.

    Once you have paid the initial $1,000 deposit, you have pledged an additional $7,000 AUD. You may raise the funds or donate the funds yourself (tax-deductible). Once the full amount of $8,000 has been received by Live Life Foundation, you’ll be approved to participate in the ride.

    Once you register, we’ll set you up on DonorBox with your own fundraising page so you can start sharing your pledge with your networks and start raising funds!

    The initial tax-deductible deposit will be payable into your own fundraising page to kick things off and we’ll send you instructions on how to do so.

  • We ask that all participants commit to having their pledge paid in full by 31st January 2024

  • You can pay a single supplement if you don’t want to share a room with another participant. The cost of the additional room is +$1,350 AUD (this amount is not a donation and is not tax-deductible).

  • 100% of the funds raised are being donated to the Neurological department at The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation. The RCH Children’s Neuroscience Centre provides high quality outpatient and inpatient services for the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders.

  • The total cost of the ride per participant is $4,000. This includes accommodation and meals, support staff fees and meals, rental fees for support vehicles, fuel and tolls, communication technology, support staff uniforms, participant riding kit, vehicle decals and promotional costs.

    Once the full pledge of $8,000 per participant is received, Live Life will donate $4,000 of the pledge directly to the Royal Children’s Hospital and use the other half of the amount pledged to pay suppliers and stakeholders for services rendered.

  • Absolutely! We’re travelling from Noosa to Byron as a crew so participants, support staff and talent will stay at in the same accommodation, eat meals together and make use of the same equipment and services.
